Fine food specialist RH Amar is expanding its fastgrowing range of Mary Berry’s sauces, dressings and chutneys this summer, by adding of a new range of fruity-based dressings to the nation’s ambient fixtures in time for summer.

Available to order now in three variants – Mango, Lime & Chilli Dressing, Carrot, Orange & Ginger Dressing, and Pomegranate Dressing (RSP: £2.99, 235ml) – all are perfect accompaniments to savoury salads, and can also be used as either sauces or marinades, offering great versatility and making them perfect additions to any summer barbecue, including as key cooking ingredients.

All three offerings contain real fruit and have been inspired by popular ingredients and flavour combinations that explode with taste, explains brand manager Anne-Marie Cannon, and tap into the growing demand for products containing superfood ingredients and interesting flavour combinations.

“These exciting new additions to our range meet a growing demand for fruitbased dressings and marinades, which are already popular on the chilled fixture but not currently catered for in ambient by a big brand offering,” adds Cannon.

“Unlike many chilled offerings, all three of our new fruit-based offerings contain only natural ingredients and no artificial flavours or preservatives, to deliver products of exceptional quality, as well as the same longer shelf-life benefits offered by the rest of the Mary Berry’s range.

“Our new Mary Berry’s fruity dressings also represent an opportunity to add some excitement and interest to the ambient dressings fixture, bringing in more new shoppers and offering existing fans of the brand something totally different.”

The latest additions to the Mary Berry’s salad dressings range come as the brand goes from strength to strength and as it is about to embark on a repeat of last summer’s hugely successful ‘Home of Good Taste Tour’, to visit food festivals throughout the UK.

The brand will also be heavily investing in a dedicated print advertising campaign in leading food magazines throughout 2017, including Jamie magazine.

“Mary Berry’s is the number one premium salad dressing brand in grocery and has the highest brand loyalty in the salad dressings category,” adds Cannon, “so it is essential that we continue to help retailers grow the category by staying front of mind during the key summer season.

“Our Home of Good Taste Tour helped us to double household penetration last year as we recorded sales growth of +15% year on year, and we look forward to introducing even more food lovers to our brand this summer, as well as giving all visitors to our Tour the opportunity to try our new fruity dressings.” Mango, Lime & Chilli Dressing will be available in Tesco from May.
