With the festive season on the horizon, “Fair for Life” Madagascan chocolate brand Madécasse has expanded its unique range with the addition of two new dark chocolate Christmas bars – Hazelnut & Cinnamon and Orange & Cranberry.
Utilising the world’s finest organic cocoa, both bars have a 63% cocoa content and are available in 75g formats with RRPs of £2.99.
The New Christmas Bars
Madécasse Orange & Cranberry – a rich dark chocolate base is infused with natural flavours of orange, while gems of dried cranberry provide texture and a sweet and tart touch.
Madécasse Hazelnut & Cinnamon – soft nutty notes enriched in a dark chocolate base with hints of warm cinnamon. Lightly roasted nuggets of hazelnut on the back of the bar provide a contrasting texture and nutty finish.
Speaking of the new launches, Madécasse Co-Founder Brett Beach, said: “We’re incredibly excited to be launching these two new bars to the European market in time for the build-up to Christmas. Our chocolate NPD team is probably the most isolated in the world but we think the best so we are confident these new lines will be big hits during the festive season.”
Madécasse was founded in 2008 by former Peace Corps volunteers Brett Beach and Tim McCollum who worked as development volunteers and project managers on the tropical island nation of Madagascar. Inspired by their experience of living and working in the impoverished country, the pair set about to make a positive change by producing high-quality chocolate with the world’s most amazing cocoa.
The Madécasse chocolate range contains no artificial additives, ingredients or preservatives and includes distinctive flavours such as Salted Almond, Espresso Bean, Milk Chocolate Toasted Coconut and Sea Salt & Nibs.
