Roll your own accessories specialist Republic Technologies UK Limited is enabling smokers to enjoy the ‘Best of British’ with the launch of a limited edition range of market-leading Swan filters.
The eye-catching range features the iconic Swan and images of the Union Jack on both the outers and packs.
“Despite all trials and tribulations we’re facing, Britain is bursting with pride at the moment. With so many special events taking place this summer, we wanted to re-inforce the fact that Swan, Britain’s favourite filter and fastest-growing paper*, is an iconic British brand with a heritage dating back 130 years,” says Mark Alldred, Republic Technologies UK Limited’s Marketing Manager.
As RYO accessories are not subject to the tobacco display ban, Alldred is encouraging retailers to use the eye-catching Swan Union Jack packs to ‘signpost’ the smokers’ accessories category in-store.
The limited edition packs will be boosted by Swan’s highly successful sponsorship of the Swan Yamaha team which is defending its title in this year’s televised 2012 MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship.
Swan has also benefited from its official partnership with the televised Premier League Darts, Britain’s biggest indoor sporting event, and the World Darts Championship which will be held in December 2012.
