Lees of Scotland has launched a new addition to its premium range, Meringue Shells with Dark Belgian Chocolate, just in time for the festive season.

Lees Meringue Shells with Dark Belgian Chocolate are made with British free-range eggs and slow baked until perfectly light and then dipped in a rich dark Belgian chocolate, to create a decadent treat.

The perfect addition to Christmas dinner, Lees’ latest creation acts as a base for a range of delicious desserts saving time and effort in the kitchen over the festive season.

Sheevaun Thomas, new product development project manager at Lees of Scotland said: “Lees are known for our delicious Meringue Shells and this premium offering is the perfect addition to the ever-popular meringue family.

“Our new Meringue Nests with Dark Belgian Chocolate contain no artificial colours or flavours and each shell has less than ninety calories. Our nests are gluten free and suitable for vegetarians and as you can add your own toppings, they are a good option for those with certain food allergies and intolerances offering retailers the opportunity to tap into the growing free-from category.” 

Each pack contains eight Meringue Shells with Dark Belgian Chocolate and is priced at £2 (RSP). They are available to purchase in Morrisons nationwide now.
