A new range of grain free products has been launched by British pet food brand Laughing Dog to cater for dogs that struggle with digestive issues.
The new Gloriously Grain Free range launches with two high quality adult recipes available in easy to digest duck and rich in iron venison, both containing 60% meat. Both varieties come in 1.5kg and 10kg bags and for dogs that love a reward there is also a 200g bag of grain free baked treats made with white fish.
Gloriously Grain Free pet food complements the popular selection of high quality baked pet products from the family run Lincolnshire based business which prides itself on its unique baking process which keeps all the goodness inside and is a healthier method to make dog food.
The grain free kibble includes vegetable and plant ingredients that are easy for dogs to digest and is made with high quality meat with lots of protein to help improve dogs’ vitality. The recipe has been specially developed by Laughing Dog’s in-house nutritionist and includes a whole host of beneficial ingredients such as potato, linseed, couchgrass, aloe vera, kelp and nettle.
The new line launches into an expanding pet food category of ‘free from’ foods developed with optimum nutrition in mind to support dog owners in improving their dog’s digestion. It adds to the Laughing Dog’s signature baked offering created by using a slower, more gentle way of cooking to retain the goodness and taste of the nutritious ingredients and to make sure nothing extra needs to be added.
Laughing Dog’s General Manager, Brian Allen, said: “Increasing numbers of pet owners are looking for healthier choices for their own diets and their animals. We know from our experience with wheat-free and baked products that demand is growing year-on-year in this market category so to create a totally grain-free product was the natural next step.

Our baked process is much gentler on dogs’ stomachs and Laughing Dog complete is 100% baked and hypoallergenic. All of our complete recipes contain no wheat, soya or dairy as there are many dogs that are sensitive to these ingredients.”
Laughing Dog has also been given a new look with the launch of the grain-free range with a new dog heading up the brand’s logo. There is a new departure in the packaging side too with the white fish treats packaged in a convenient Velcro close bag to ensure maximum product freshness. The 10Kg bag of complete food comes with a front reclose slider to keep the food fresher for longer and a carry handle making it easier to carry home.
