Kepak Convenience Foods (KCF) is underling its quality credentials with the launch of the Flame Grilled Mighty Angus Burger, a new premium product in its market-leading Rustlers range. “Angus beef has an unrivalled reputation for quality and a proven track record in the food service sector. We believe it will introduce new consumers to the hot snacking category and our investment in this product underlines our new improved quality position for the Rustlers’ brand,” says Stuart Meikle, Grocery Business Unit Controller.
Kepak has undertaken extensive research which shows that that 1 in 3 consumers would purchase the new Rustlers Angus Burger, guaranteeing incremental growth to the £102 Million hot snacking category.
The hot snacking category which is growing at 20% year on year is an important category for retailers, with it now attracting over 5 million households each year.
The Flame Grilled Mighty Angus Burger retails at £1.89 and is available in outers of 4’s and 8’s.
