bill-new-greyWhat makes RBTE so important as an event is that whatever their position, it’s vital for everyone in multiple grocery retail to be fully conversant with retail technology’s potential to make a difference to their organisation. RBTE helps you catch up with what’s out there.

RBTE is relevant to all areas of multiple grocery retailing, not only IT but operations, multichannel, marketing, supply chain, eCommerce, logistics, loss prevention, payments and finance.

RBTE 2016 is co-located with two other retail events, Retail Design Expo and Retail Digital Signage Expo, making it even more unmissable. As well as the exhibition there is a packed schedule of seminars and conferences to enjoy.

The world of retail business technology is expanding and developing at a rapid pace, which can leave you mentally breathless.

RBTE offers the chance to explore it at your own speed as you walk around and visit the stands and take in a comprehensive range of solutions and products from leading ERP vendors to smaller, boutique solution providers.

This annual tech-fest has evolved over the years from the old Retail Solutions show, which was primarily about hardware, into a mind expanding place where every stand has something different and interesting to offer, whether it’s a piece of physical kit, a solution or an app. What they all have in common is that each offers the benefit of a fresh business performance improvement.

In the last few years the supermarkets, Co-ops and convenience store chains have been fighting it out in an increasingly competitive world and have gone from the multi-channel retailing of the last few decades to embrace the vision of omnichannel operations offering the consumer a seamless service, whether they are shopping online, or in a superstore, a convenience format outlet or a forecourt shop, with the overarching goal to maximise customer loyalty and enhance the shopping experience.

As the technology evolves and prices come down, adopting it across a retail estate becomes much more affordable, but picking your way through the different offerings and finding the right solution for your needs is as important than ever. Knowledge is the key. Find out more at RBTE.
