    Yes I’ll speak my mind – Please forward this email to HDNL, as they seem unwilling to have any contact number available for Joe Public to reach them on.

    I paid River Island £6.95 for Express Delivery of a parcel, because it was URGENT – urgent means I needed it as quickly as possible therefore was willing to pay nearly £7.00, expecting a first rate service in return. I appreciate it is Christmas but if your firm cannot deliver within the specified time then they should not accept the order under said terms.
    I have waited in all day for this parcel – it is now 9.15pm so I have little hope of receiveing the parcel now. I have to work tomorrow, so if your delivery people come then (a day late) I will be at work so no doubt a card will be left and I will probably have to wait ANOTHER day before I can pick up the parcel I paid £7 to have delivered quickly, or wait another 24 hours to have it delivered to my address again. With a bit of luck, I MIGHT just get it by the weekend….which is longer than your Standard Delivery time.
    Shoddy service, and hardly likely to inspire confidence in your service. River Island have also been informed of this complaint. Deal with it please.
