‘Radnor Hills is delighted to have won a Great Taste Award for our Heartsease Farm traditional lemonade’ says William Watkins, Farmer and Managing Director of Radnor Hills Ltd.
‘The traditional lemonade is just one of five flavours in our range of super-premium presses named after Heartsease Farm which has been our family farm since 1903. The farm lies in a valley among the rolling hills of the Welsh Marches, it’s here we draw our spring water from deep sources and blend with juices and extracts to create our soft drinks.
My vision was to create a range of drinks to reflect the heritage of the farm and our passion for great flavours using countryside ingredients blended with our own spring water and traditional British recipes. We have five gently sparkling flavours: Traditional Lemonade, Raspberry Lemonade, St Clements, Elderflower Presse and Blackcurrant crush.’
The products are bottled in glass 750ml and 330ml bottles and we have developed a new claret shaped 425ml PET bottle to fit within the range and mirror our glass bottles for those retailers who cannot use glass.
‘Initial interest in the range has been fantastic and we are really pleased with the response’ said William Watkins.

The new claret shaped bottle is designed to mirror the 750ml and 330ml glass bottles already within the range. The 425ml bottle is perfect for the impulse sector which is presently only able to offer premium pressé drinks in glass.
The range was created by MD and farmer William Watkins to reflect the heritage of the farm and his passion for great flavours. Using the best ingredients available from the countryside, and blended with spring water from his farm in the rolling hills of the Welsh Marches, blended to traditional British recipes.

For some time I’ve felt there was an opportunity in the soft drinks market for a really premium range of sparkling pressés which are bottled in both glass and plastic. Many outlets can’t stock glass and this gives them the chance to sell a super-premium pressé range.
My vision was to create a range of drinks to reflect the heritage of the farm and our passion for great flavours. Using the best ingredients available from the countryside, and blended with our own spring water to traditional British recipes.
