Alpen Light Chocolate and Fudge bar, the most recent addition to the Alpen Light range, was developed with this in mind. The indulgent flavour, aligned with strong health and diet credentials, have resulted in strong sales, helping Alpen Light bars achieve £11m in values sales, increasing 23% year on year (MAT).
Launched in June 2008, Alpen Light Chocolate & Fudge sits alongside the existing Apple & Sultana, Chocolate & Orange and Summer Fruits variants, giving retailers the opportunity to increase the breadth of their cereal bar offering.
