meat-processing.jpgAt the forefront of plastics pallet/container design and development, Craemer has successfully supplied millions of plastic products to provide solutions for handling and storage systems worldwide and at Foodex Meatex will display a selection of products specific to the food and meat processing industry. On display will be the original plastic pallets from Craemer, the highly acclaimed one piece moulded CR1 manufactured to industry standards (Euro 1200 x 800mm) and the heavy duty CR3 (UK 1200 x 1000mm), available as perimetric or with three runners. Designed to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness within materials handling, these extremely hygienic pallets stand up to long life service in today’s logistics and pooling systems and can even be fully recycled.

Both of these products feature as standard the uniquely moulded-in, anti-slip profiles to the topdeck to secure carrying of heterogeneous loads such as crates, sacks and bags. Each pallet can be customised with additional Craemer options to meet specific handling applications, including reinforced profiles for heavy loads and additional outer rims for increased load safety.

Craemer plastic pallets are tested to extremes in both hot and cold store environments to ensure a trouble-free life and are reported by the largest pallet pooling company to have the lowest damage rate of any plastic pallet.
Craemer will also exhibit details of their range of storage and transport plastics containers, manufactured from high quality material (HDPE) to give long life and high performance in service. From bulk storage to food quality applications, the strong durable range of containers, boxes and trays all incorporate many hygienic features and work in synergy with Craemer plastics pallets. These include containers for general food and meat processing, plus specially designed fish crates with a unique proven drainage system.

Craemer crates provide for easy handling and optimum product cooling, plus the Euro fish crates incorporate a highly sophisticated drainage system. Small channels at the edges of the base allow substances such as blood and thawed water to drain away to the outside, maintaining the fresh caught quality of the catch. An intelligent marking system clearly shows how to stack and nest boxes very easily to achieve maximum stability and optimise on space utilisation in cold store or on vehicles.

Craemer UK will be available on stand AC311 to advise customers on product selection from the vast range of sizes available, standard and optional features, and the properties of manufacturing materials used.
