GroceryAid, the charity that helps people across the whole of the UK grocery industry, has announced it is to partner with training provider Bridgethorne Training Academy to deliver two days of training for FMCG suppliers with all proceeds going to the charity.
In October, Bridgethorne Training Academy will deliver two one-day courses – one in London and one Leeds – entitled ‘Unlocking Actionable Insights’. The delegates’ fees for attending will be donated to GroceryAid.
Delegates attending the workshops will leave with a clearer understanding of how they can more effectively engage with retailers. This will include recognising what great insight is, how to get to it and how they can apply it to their everyday operations.
Delegates will be shown how insight helps define strategy and lead to better decisions; how to frame questions at the right level to get the right scope of insight, and how to to turn insights into implications and prioritised actions for greatest impact.

“Suppliers who really understand the end consumer and shopper and help develop new solutions to meet their needs, are the ones who will win. To be able to train people in this area at the same time as being able to partner with and benefit GroceryAid is something we are really excited about.”
