Already a favourite amongst Italy’s pasta aficionados, Garofalo is proud to announce its latest partnership with Nico Romito as he opens his professional chefs’ training school, Casadonna, in Azzuro, Italy.

Nico is proprietor of Ristorante Reale and proud holder of 2 Michelin Stars, as well as a host of other awards, including the title of Best Italian Chef 2011. He is well known in the profession for his use of top-quality traditional ingredients, which is why Garofalo is especially honoured to enter into this three-year partnership with him.

With Nico as director, the school will welcome other top chefs to tutor students including Massimiliano Alajmo, Chicco Cerea, Moreno Cedroni, Mauro Uliassi, Norbert Niederkofler and Andrea Berton, and there are plans to extend the school’s courses to amateur cooks looking to learn from such distinguished names.

Massimo Menna, Managing Director of Pasta Garofalo said, “This association with one of Italy’s top chefs is a proud moment for Garofalo – we share a passion for Italian culture that is expressed through honest, traditional food – and we are delighted that the next generation of top chefs will have our pasta at the heart of their training.”
