FrieslandCampina the €12.1bn and 5th biggest dairy company in the world is moving its ambient supply chain to Wolverhampton this month.
Leading chilled and ambient distribution specialist, Culina Group has been awarded the contract to distribute FrieslandCampina’s chilled and ambient products, including the No.1 flavoured milk drink brand in the UK, YAZOO.
Culina group has re-won the FrieslandCampina business, having already worked with the dairy giant for 11 years. As part of the re-tender process, Culina made the decision to move the supply chain to Great Bear in Wolverhampton.
Shaun Parnell Market Supply Manager said “Great Bear was founded over 20 years ago and is an integral part of the Culina Group. It’s an exciting time to come on board with FrieslandCampina UK as its ambient range is incredibly popular with consumers and growing year-on-year.”
Culina Group works with a number of other top retailers and manufacturers, including Sainsbury’s, Unilever and Mars.
