Launches new tablet based shopkeeper tools

LONDON (19th June, 2012) – Digital Foodie, the company behind Foodie.fm, the world’s first fully personalised social shopping platform for groceries, announced today the launch of new tablet based shopkeeper tools for running eCommerce operations in a modern way. The new tools are part of the Foodie.fm Product Suite that was introduced at LeWeb London visitors  from 19th-20th June in Demo Zone 2, demo desk D16.

Foodie.fm Product Suite offers everything needed to run personalised online services for groceries. The core of the suite is the multichannel storefront built around Foodie’s recommendation engine. For assisted buying, the suite includes consumer facing service modules for personalised and social recipe recommendations as well as store based feedback and rating module that increases the transparency of retailer operations.

The new tablet based shopkeeper tools help retailers to move away from printouts and spreadsheets and improve the quality of operations. Instead of flicking through various documents, pickers can now access a dedicated view for orders from their iPads. They can easily modify the order in real-time if needed. Also drivers can communicate both with the store staff and the customers directly via Foodie on their iPads.
