FHG IPP Logipal, the UK & Ireland’s second largest pooling supplier and leading high quality pallet pooling specialist, has won a new contract with Calypso Soft Drinks to supply the independent, family-owned, Wrexham-based business with pooling services for a further three years. This follows an initial one-year agreement.
Carl McInerney, commercial director, FHG IPP Logipal UK & Ireland said: “We are delighted to have re-signed Calypso Soft Drinks for a further three years. This contract extension further strengthens our FMCG client portfolio and the beverages sector in particular.
“Calypso Soft Drinks is one of our trade direct customers with the majority of pallet deliveries made from retail distribution centres. Pallet deliveries have increased substantially over the past 12 months, rising exponentially by 35 per cent from the start to the end of the initial 12-month contract. We see this trend continuing as Calypso’s business develops.”
