Encona Sauces partners with Heart London for drive-time promotion

Encona Sauces, the UK’s No.1 hot pepper sauce brand*1, is announcing a four-week radio campaign with Heart London.


Running through May and June the campaign – featuring the Encona strapline ‘Banish the Bland’ – sees the brand team up with the JK and Lucy drive-time show to offer listeners the chance to win 5 luxury restaurant dining experiences.

Promotional trails on-air will direct listeners to an Encona branded microsite hosted by Heart London, where they will be encouraged to enter by sharing their best foodie photos.

The competition will be supported by Encona branded spot advertising on Heart London, plus live reads from Heart London presenters, and social media support from the station.

“The Heart London partnership comes at an exciting time for the brand, following the launch of new Encona Marinades, which tap into the trends for scratch cooking and flavours from around the world. We have also undergone a label and packaging refresh and additions to our sauces range,” says Nyree Chambers, Head of Marketing for Grace Foods UK.

“The campaign will deliver maximum impact, driving customer engagement, and raising awareness for the brand across radio, out-of-home, in-store, social and digital media.”

In line with the campaign, the brand also filmed a commercial featuring Heart London presenter Lucy Horobin – one half of the JK and Lucy drivetime team – which will be hosted on the Heart London website.
