Eager to impress with new carton pack

Premium pressed and squeezed juice company, Eager Drinks, has launched a range of not-from-concentrate juices in SIG Combibloc’s combiblocMidi 1000 ml carton pack.

The team at Eager Drinks is committed to providing quality juices that last and offer consumers an invigorating taste experience without the need to refrigerate. Aseptic carton packs from SIG Combibloc like combiblocMidi ensure the end consumer experiences the full nutrition and taste of the juices and also the reassurance of safe and convenient long life storage and easy pouring.

Eager Drinks uses premium quality fruit and vegetables, which are not made from concentrate. Instead the fruit is processed immediately after harvesting and gently treated to give them longevity but with vital nutrients retained. The special composite structure of SIG Combibloc’s carton packs and the aseptic filling process guarantee these nutrients, such as antioxidants and vitamins, are protected. One glass of Eager juice counts for one of the recommended 5-a-day portions of fruit and vegetables.

SIG Combibloc’s secure and easy to open combiSwift closure, also provides the user with drip free pouring and is fully re-sealable for both vertical and horizontal storage.

The eye catching design on the carton packs is crucial to ensure Eager juices stand out from the crowd and show the true personality of the juices, which founder Ed Rigg describes as “bursting with life, fun, extrovert, and cool and confident without being chilled”.

Eager’s range of juices, including Pineapple, Tomato, Grapefruit, Gentle Orange, Orange with Bits, Apple & Mango and Cranberry, are available in more than 1,000 On Trade venues across the UK, and are also due to be listed by various UK supermarkets.

Ed Rigg, Founder of Eager Drinks commented: “Our aim is to educate consumers that the best quality juices are available in the ambient supermarket aisle as well as the chiller cabinet, and using SIG Combibloc carton packs guarantees premium quality, from retaining nutrients to carton design, usage and image.”

Ed continued: “Consumers are becoming more discerning about the pureness of juice, and we’ve had quite a lot of On Trade suppliers commenting on how the general public are increasingly enquiring about the quality of juices being used as mixers and in cocktails.”

Imelda Harrington, Key Account Manager at SIG Combibloc commented: “There’s a perfect synergy between Eager’s premium juices and our carton packs, with exceptional quality guaranteed to the end consumer. The fresh yet fun visual on the carton pack really helps to bring the product to life.”
