Coronation Street celebrate 50th anniversary with new branded range

coronation-street-2Coronation Street is set to become the world’s longest running serial drama in September and will celebrate its 50th anniversary in December 2010. Britain’s most watched and loved show is set for its place in the history books.

Mountney Ltd has been awarded the license by ITV to develop a range of Coronation Street branded automotive products. We have created a diverse and fun range for all Coronation Street fans.

With a catalogue of key rings, air freshners, tax disc holders, sun shades and cleaning kits from the famous Streetcars and some of the best known characters, whether you’re new to the show or have watched it since 1960, Mountney has created something for all eras.

Coronation Street attracts approximately 9 million viewers per episode and has had as many as 24 million watching the big story lines.

Initially the range will be launched as Coronation Street and a new range will be introduced for the 50th Anniversary around October. ITV will be promoting the anniversary heavily during this period so make sure you have plenty of stock to capitalise on this publicity.
