Refrigerated courier expert Igloo is planning to stay in pole position by making its first entry into the world of motorsport.
Igloo-sponsored Smart cars will compete in the 2016 Classic Sports Car Club ‘Modern Classic’ and ‘New Millennium’ race series.
The race season starts in April at Snetterton and continues until October 2016 where it finishes at Oulton Park.
The Modern Classics Series has been running since 2013 and is designed for most production Saloon, Hatchback, Sports and GT models produced up to the end of 1999.
The New Millennium series is designed for production-based cars from the year 2000 onwards with a wide variety of makes and models competing.
Alistair Turner, Chief Executive of Igloo, said: “This is a smart move for Igloo and will help raise our profile across the country. We are looking forward to supporting the S2smarts Racing Team in the season ahead.”
