Geese---Morph-the-dog

Sales of geese have risen in recent years as more homes take a gander at traditional roast goose for their seasonal celebrations.

Clare Hughes, from Great Clerkes Farm Foods: “Christmas dinner is one of the most important meals of the year and we pride ourselves on raising delicious free-range geese that take centre stage.

“Our customers often live in places without straight-forward addresses for Sat Nav. Last year we used another delivery company and were so disappointed, they damaged our reputation.

“This year, we are working with Igloo whose drivers repeatedly go ‘above and beyond’ and have always managed to deliver our geese in perfect condition.”

Igloo is a leading frozen and chilled food courier offering multi-temperature service with same day and next day delivery across the UK and into Europe.

With a modern fleet of refrigerated vans and HGV’s, Igloo delivers nationally on behalf of food producers and distributors from small start-ups to large corporations with all sizes of consignments from parcels to pallets.

Alistair Turner, Chief Executive of Igloo, said: “The team at Igloo are skilled in making unusual deliveries to out of the way locations from castles to countryside. We adapt to our clients’ specific requirements whether that is sampling cheese in train stations, delivering drinks at running events or food tastings at head offices.

“We will be collecting two hundred prepared geese from Great Clerkes Farm Foods on 21st December and delivering them to arrive on 22nd December. Each delivery will have ‘real time’ tracking to let the customer know when to expect their delivery.”
