Childs Farm, the UK’s fastest growing children’s toiletries brand, uses natural ‘free-from’ ingredients and essential oils to create mild, kind and delicioussmelling products that care for the delicate skin of babies and children. Set up in 2010 by entrepreneur Joanna Jensen, the range was created in response to the lack of affordable and effective natural products for children. Many of the offerings on the market look medicinal which Childs Farm knew was unappealing so with the motto ‘Happy skin means happy babies and parents too’ they created exciting brightly coloured and cartooned bottles. These are unmissable on supermarket and pharmacy shelves and carry a prominent sensitive skin stamp. The brand is one of the few baby and children’s ranges on the market to undergo clinical tests and controlled user trials to certify products are dermatologically tested and paediatrician approved.
Following two recent trials, 100% of parents of newborns and 3-18 month olds with medically diagnosed eczema claimed Childs Farm products did not cause irritation to their child’s skin. In addition, 100% of parents would recommend the products to parents of newborns and babies with sensitive and even eczema prone skin.
After investing in extensive clinical trials, Joanna launched the brand in 2011 with her first products; strawberry and mint shampoo and conditioner, sweet orange hair and body wash, and tangerine bubble bath. The range now offers a product range across bath, skin, hair, sun care and most recently they launched a topto- toe toiletries range dedicated to newborns and babies, stocked exclusively in Boots nationwide.
