As a second generation family run business, Cofresh started trading over thirty years ago in the UK making snack products to authentic ethnic recipes. Over the years they have pushed the boundaries further and further until now they are seen as the only truly national branded authentic Indian snack company in the UK.
As Managing Director Pete Patel explains: “With over 200 products, we offer the flavour of India and beyond through our range of snacks, cooking sauces, table sauces, chutneys, dips and marinades. New products are always being developed like our new range of Indian and Caribbean cooking sauces along with some new delicious snack bars.”
“All of our products are suitable for Vegetarians. Some are suitable for Vegans and Gluten Free. Recently under KBLD Beth Din, we are kosher on our caramelised nuts and snack bar ranges,” adds Pete Patel.
Today many of Cofresh products are found in all of the major multiples and are also widely available in most Asian retail grocery stores, Cash & Carry’s and Wholesalers throughout the UK.
Their state of the art 80,000 sq ft factory is situated on a three acre site in Leicester. Modern and new, its capabilities and production supply are second to none, allowing them to maintain the highest product quality, consistency and quality assurance.
