The average age to get married has been revealed as 26, we go on our first plane journey at 14 and most Brits attend their first music gig at 16. These and other milestones of life have been revealed in a survey* conducted by Brioche Pasquier to support its new ‘Special Moments’ competition.

The photography competition is running on social media platforms until October 10th and is designed to engage customers across the country and improve brand awareness for the popular Brioche Pasquier bakery products.

The company’s new branding includes the tagline ‘Baking life’s special moments’, and this is a sentiment that they are now encouraging their customers to share.

We want to capture and share the nation’s most special moments,” explains Sales Manager Matthew Grenter. “We are asking customers to send us photos and to upload them onto social media platforms, thus sharing the joy and possibly winning one of several great prizes.”

The campaign is targeted towards young parents to align with Brioche Pasquier’s key demographic. It is hosted on a microsite and entrants are also encouraged to post on Facebook and Instagram using the hashtag #shareaspecialmoment’ .

The first prize is a family holiday voucher worth £2,000, plus a year’s supply of Brioche Rolls, PITCH Chocolate and PITCH Chocolate Chip, Pains au Chocolat and Croissants. There will also be product prizes for four runners up.

“Our research revealed that 73% of us like to document our special moments with photos or videos, and in the average week we will photograph or video five events. The milestones these images record are often universal moments that we can all identify with. Our shared album will strike a chord with special moments in all our lives,” says Matthew.

“By asking people to share images of their life affirming moments, we are hoping to build a Brioche Pasquier ‘family’ of customers. This mirrors our company ethos – we are a family founded, owned and run company and, after 70 years, still have family values at the centre of our business.”

Entrants must upload their picture to a dedicated microsite bakinglifesspecialmoments.co.uk and we also ask them to post on Facebook @uk.briochepasquier or Instagram pasquier_uk, using the hashtag #shareaspecialmoment.

The competition will be judged by an influencer who specialises in content creation.

*We polled 2,000 adults to find out at which age these special moments are the most likely to happen, allowing us to create a timeline of special events.
