“With babies’ future in mind” is the key motto for new company Baby Boo Organics. Launched at the Natural and Organic Trade Exhibition in 2008, Baby Boo Organics have introduced a range of baby bath care products which is organic, free from chemicals, vegan society registered and made in the UK.
Baby Boo Organics already sees themselves as one the most ethically friendly baby companies to launch in the UK as all packaging is 100% recyclable, therefore minimising waste and reducing the carbon footprint.
Business Development Manager David Giles said: “We have gone to every length to ensure that we minimise our carbon footprint and are as ethically friendly as is possible. We’ve endeavoured to consider every aspect of our business – all of our products within the Baby Boo Organic range are manufactured in the UK, even our website is hosted by a server which is powered by electricity from a wind turbine.”
The Baby Boo Organics range consists of 5 skincare products designed to care for babies’ skin, including a first ever Organic Strawberry Body Wash. Each product has been certified organic by the Soil Association; a certification only given to products with the highest standards of organic integrity. The range has also gained accreditation from the Vegan Society, which confirms no GMO’s have been used in the processing and manufacturing of the range and no animal testing has taken place.
“It is no surprise that many parents are moving away from conventional baby bath care products due to the amount of harmful chemicals they contain. Chemicals such as Parabens, SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulphate), SLES (Sodium Laureth Sulfate) and Pthalates are used as preservatives and foaming agents, these chemicals are also used in the manufacturing process of PVC windows and Car Wash Detergents,” said Sarah Woodstock.
Each product in the Baby Boo Organics range is free from these harmful chemicals, which means babies can benefit from a completely organic and chemical free skincare routine.
Since the launch in April 2008, Baby Boo Organics have enjoyed sales success not only in the UK but throughout Europe, Asia and Australia.
