It has been an award winning year for Bloo, one of the UK’s leading bathroom care brands, as its new and innovative product, FoamAroma, hit the shelves at the start of 2016. TV ads appeared on screens in 70 percent of households in the UK and Ireland and FoamAroma was named as the best new household product of the year.
FoamAroma launched in early 2016, providing consumers with a unique cleaning powder, which when dispensed into the loo bowl foams on contact with the water, rising up and releasing a perfume.
Since launch FoamAroma has been supported by a substantial through the line campaign, including a £2 million TV advertising campaign and a #BlooMonday promotion that saw a giant loo placed in London to cheer up passers-by on the bluest day of the year. In 2016 FoamAroma Ocean Mist was named the best new household product in The Grocer New Product Awards 2016.
The winners of the awards are selected through independent consumer testing and celebrate outstanding innovation in the UK FMCG sector in both non-food and food categories. Consumers rewarding Bloo said they enjoyed the “lasting” smell and said it was an “exciting way to clean the loo”.

FoamAroma, also available in Rose & Apple Blossom, can be found in Tesco, Sainsburys, Iceland, Savers, Wilkos, Ocado, Morrisons and ASDA, with an RRP of £3.49.
The product comes in beautiful 500g contoured bottles, each featuring an easy to use 50g measuring cap. The packaging has been designed with premium style trends in mind with the intention that the product can be left on display to accessorise the bathroom.
