paul-langford.jpgFollowing AHT Cooling System Ltd’s acquisition of Caravell UK last month, the newly-formed AHT Cooling Systems UK is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Langford as Sales Director. Paul is in fact re-joining the company’s management team after a six year experience-enhancing role as Sales Director of the UK’s largest refrigeration refurbishment company. Prior to this move Paul spent 10 years with Caravell, latterly as National Accounts Director. Paul is a 22 year veteran of the industry. He began his career as a refrigeration apprentice with Churchill Instruments. After working as an engineer throughout Europe he went on to work for HRP in technical sales before moving to Caravell for the first stage of his career with the company.

“After six years, it’s good to have Paul back,” says John Lougher, Managing Director of AHT Cooling Systems UK’s catering, ice cream and bottle cooling division: “This is an exciting time in our business, particularly now we have the backing of a global manufacturing brand with its massive R&D resources. This will enable us to continue to be at the forefront of introducing energy efficient, innovative and value-for-money products. We need someone like Paul to ensure that our customers and their own businesses benefit from this superb opportunity.”

Paul is excited about the developments ahead: “With the UK operation now being a true daughter company of a massive global business, the opportunity to be part of the company’s next evolution was too good for me to pass up,” says Langford.

“The rest of 2008 and 2009 is going to be a very busy time for us, with the launch of our new price book, our next generation modular cold & combination rooms, new AHT integrals and a UK focused range of remote equipment to launch.

“I’m looking forward to seeing our customers, and to working with them to add value and grow their businesses,” concludes Langford.

Paul Langford can be contacted at AHT Cooling Systems UK on 01280 826600 or on 07775 276005.
