The a2 Milk Company has begun selling its fresh milk in the UK in cartons. The new 1 litre packs, launching in all major grocery retailers, are 100% recyclable, using FSC certified pulp. The introduction of the cartons follows a2’s new supply relationship with Crediton Dairy. The move into cartons also coincides with research showing UK consumers would switch to buying fresh milk in a carton if they knew it was more sustainable and of those who drink milk, 69% would rather buy fresh milk in a carton than a plastic bottle. The a2 Milk Company is a rapidly expanding global dairy nutritionals business based on the unique A2 protein type proposition.
